## Participation Ethics
All Members commit to the following participation ethics:
**Good Faith Engagement**
- Participate with genuine intent to contribute
- Assume good faith in others unless shown otherwise
- Engage constructively even in disagreement
**Honest Communication**
- Represent yourself and your work accurately
- Share relevant information that affects collective decisions
- Acknowledge uncertainty and limitations
**Respect for Others**
- Honor the dignity of all participants
- Listen actively and make space for diverse voices
- Avoid personal attacks and dismissive behavior
**Accountability**
- Follow through on commitments
- Accept feedback and reflect on impact
- Acknowledge mistakes and work to repair harm
**Alignment**
- Act in accordance with Alliance purpose and values
- Raise concerns through appropriate channels
- Support decisions once made, even if you disagreed

### Responsibilities

## Member Types
The Alliance welcomes both individual and organizational Members:
**Individual Members:** Natural persons participating in their own capacity
**Organizational Members:** Organizations (including Network Nations) participating through designated representatives
- Organizations designate a primary contact
- Organizations may change representatives with notice to Stewards
- Representatives participate as themselves while also representing organizational perspective
## Engagement Expectations
To remain in good standing, Members are expected to:
- Participate in at least one Alliance Assembly gathering per year
- Maintain current contact information
- Respond to direct inquiries within reasonable time
- Not be in unresolved conflict under [[3. Protocols/Cultural Protocols/Conflict Transformation Protocol|Conflict Transformation Protocol]]
Members not meeting these expectations may be contacted for re-engagement or graceful transition out.
