# Role Term
- [[Labs Practitioner]]s hold their membership indefinitely unless they voluntarily resign or are removed through this protocol.
- [[Labs Practitioner]]s can be removed for violations of the constitution or gross misconduct.
- Removal is permanent and requires a super-majority vote of all other [[Labs Member]]s.
# Add Practitioner
This protocol ensures that new members are aligned with the DAO's values and have the trust of the existing community.
**1. Nomination**
- A current [[Labs Member]] nominates a candidate who has demonstrated commitment and contribution as a [[Labs Participant]].
**2. Vouching**
- At least two other [[Labs Member]]s must vouch for the candidate, speaking to their character and past collaborations.
**3. Membership Proposal**
- A [[Labs Manager]] formally proposes the candidate for membership on the DAO forum.
**4. Vote**
- The proposal is put to a vote of all [[Labs Member]]s. A super-majority (e.g., 80%) is required for approval.
**5. Onboarding**
- If approved, the new member is onboarded, signs the membership agreement, and is granted full access and permissions.
# Remove Practitioner
This protocol is a last resort to protect the integrity and safety of the DAO.
**1. Formal Complaint**
- A [[Labs Member]] submits a formal, private complaint to the [[Labs Manager Council]], detailing the alleged violation.
**2. Investigation**
- The [[Labs Manager Council]] conducts a fair and impartial investigation, gathering evidence and speaking to all relevant parties.
**3. Mediation**
- If appropriate, the [[Labs Manager Council]] will attempt to resolve the conflict through a mediated conversation.
**4. Removal Vote**
- If mediation fails or is inappropriate, the [[Labs Manager Council]] may call a vote to remove the member. A super-majority (e.g., 80%) of all other [[Labs Member]]s are required. The member in question does not get a vote.
