This protocol is a last resort to protect the integrity and safety of the DAO.
**1. Formal Complaint**
- A [[Labs Member]] submits a formal, private complaint to the [[Labs Manager]]s, detailing the alleged violation.
**2. Investigation**
- The [[Labs Manager]]s conduct a fair and impartial investigation, gathering evidence and speaking to all relevant parties.
**3. Mediation**
- If appropriate, the managers will attempt to resolve the conflict through a mediated conversation.
**4. Removal Vote**
- If mediation fails or is inappropriate, the [[Labs Manager]]s may call a vote to remove the member. A super-majority (e.g., 80%) of all other members is required. The member in question does not get a vote.
**Role Term**
- [[Labs Member]]s hold their membership indefinitely unless they voluntarily resign or are removed through this protocol.
- Members can be removed for violations of the constitution or gross misconduct.
- Removal is permanent and requires a super-majority vote of all other members.
