- **Applications:** Manager Council review and approval
- **Status Changes:** Manager Council with member input
- **Appeals:** Labs Assembly
## Procedures
**Onboarding**
1. Prospective member submits application
2. Manager Council reviews for values alignment and capacity
3. Existing member sponsors application
4. Manager Council approves or requests additional information
5. New member completes onboarding orientation
6. Member gains access to platforms and resources
**Maintaining Active Status**
- Participate in at least one project or protocol per quarter
- Attend Labs Assembly as able
- Uphold participation ethics
- Maintain accurate member profile
**Transition to Inactive**
- Members not meeting participation minimums notified
- 30-day grace period to resume activity
- Inactive status removes governance rights but preserves access
- Reactivation available upon resumed participation
**Departure**
- Members may depart at any time with notice
- Exit interview encouraged for feedback
- Access revoked upon departure
- Contributions remain per IP agreements
