## Procedures
**Election**
1. Manager Council announces upcoming vacancy (30 days before term end)
2. Nominations open for 14 days
3. Nominees confirm acceptance and submit statements
4. Labs Assembly votes (ranked choice or approval voting)
5. Results announced within 7 days
6. Transition period (14 days) for knowledge transfer
**Term Management**
- Terms are 1 year, renewable by election
- Staggered terms ensure continuity (not all terms end simultaneously)
- Maximum 3 consecutive terms, then 1-year break required
- Mid-term vacancies filled by special election
**Responsibilities**
- Attend weekly Manager Council syncs
- Participate in project approvals and treasury decisions
- Maintain transparent communication with membership
- Report quarterly to Labs Assembly
**Removal**
1. Removal proposal submitted with documented concerns
2. Manager given opportunity to respond
3. Labs Assembly deliberates
4. Supermajority (2/3) vote required for removal
5. Immediate transition to remaining Managers or special election
